Many years ago I had heard that the Chinese bicycles were designed with an off center front axle. Supposedly, if you got the right bouncing rhythm while riding, you didn’t need to peddle. So I built one to test the theory and it really worked! As I was riding it one day, a vehicle came around the corner and saw me bumpily riding this contraption that not only hopped up and down, up and down, but also became longer and shorter, longer and shorter. Up, longer, down, shorter with every revolution of the front wheel! I noticed that the driver completely forgot that he was driving his own vehicle which ended up jumping the curb and finally stopping in the middle of the neighbor’s lawn! I gave him a friendly greeting and slowly bounced away.

A grown woman lifting her dress and peeing at the curb while trying to find ice after a hurricane. WE were without power or water for a week, for others it was months.

Thick black smoke was bellowing out of the top of a silo! "That silo shouldn't be having that kind of trouble!" We turned around to report it to the farmer in case he wasn't aware. He thanked us for being concerned but, he was no longer using the silo except to burn trash in.
